We had quite a big order as we’re a big group staying nearby but we were met by the nicest people who were so friendly and chatty. The food was unbelievably good and we even got surprised with crispy bits of batter and such with our food that was so tasty. All the portions were just the right size and we’re now sad to be leaving as we want more! Thank you!
I would highly recommend Purple lobster the fish and chips are excellent and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I have been delighted every time. Heather
Great tasting fish and generous portions. My first visit was good, I'll be back when I'm next up.
We had 2 portions of the tea time special and they were absolutely delicious. Portion size was very generous. I’m 58 and I’ve tasted many fish & chips around Great Britain in my time and I can honestly say they were one of the best I’ve had and tasted. The gentleman that served us came across very friendly and was very helpful when we asked for a large sausage for our pet dogs. Will definitely be calling again Thank you
I do quite a few reviews on fish and chip shops and must say this was possibly the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. It is absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend the journey.
Best fish and chips around I wouldn’t go anywhere else, and I love how you order the fish on arrival so it’s not been sat around, well done nick and Nicola keep up the hard work
These were the best chips i’ve ever had. And the batter on the sausage was good quality. You can tell they value cooking and using high quality ingredients. Not your average chippy! Thank you.
Our visit was a Thursday lunchtime. It was very quite. I ordered 2 lunchtime specialise fish, chips, curry sauce (choice of mushy peas, gravy, curry) 5.70 each. Generous portion of chips, fish was adequate, served in a polystyrene type container with lid. Tasted very nice. The shop was immaculately clean and modern. Our order was cooked for us so fresh. Couple of high tables and high stools available. Closed off was a proper seating area....looked like maybe 6 or 7 tables each with 4 upholstered seats. The owner was very friendly chatty. We would certainly go again and absolutely recommend.
